Private guided tour of Windsor Castle & Stonehenge

Your private driver guide will meet you at your Central London hotel at 9AM and will explain the tour itinerary. This is a good opportunity to discuss any changes you would like to make or to mention any requests you may have.

The World Heritage Site of Stonehenge will be the first stop of the day and we will arrive there about 10 am before all the bus tours arrive from London.

On route to Stonehenge your driver guide will tell you some of the history of this 5,000 year old mysterious site. On arrival your guide will escort you through, and tell you about, the wonderful exhibition in the new visitor centre before taking you outside to see the recreated houses of the builders of Stonehenge. Then you will head down to the stone circle where your guide will tell you more of the history of Stonehenge and the surrounding countryside.

Lunch can either be taken on route to Windsor in a country pub or in Windsor town centre where there are many places to choose from. Your driver guide will be happy to make recommendations for you.
