London is now one of the most exciting and vibrant multicultural cities in the world.
With a fully qualified guide by your side you will see and hear all about London's history as well as some amusing stories about London and the people who helped make it the city it is today.
The South Bank.
Once known as the lifeline of London the River Thames is the longest river in England stretching for 215 miles. The London section of the Thames rises and falls 23 feet with each tide.
A walk along the South Bank of the Thames will reveal so many facts about London's 2000 yer history. As well as telling you all about the river your guide will tell you about the different areas you are passing through, the many bridges that span the Thames and the buildings you will see on both sides.
On this walk you will see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the Millennium Bridge that was used in the Harry Potter films, London Bridge Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and much more. There is also the option of climbing to the top of The Monument, a 212 foot column to commemorate the Great Fire Of London in 1616. From the top you will have great views of the City of London and the River Thames.
This tour can be taken either in the morning or afternoon.
